This is a selection of images that portray ‘Hope’ or, for one reason another, give me ‘Hope’…for example thriving local communities, holding onto traditions (especially through successive family generations), compassion, respect, love, eternal youth, or faith. And some images are a bit of both! The images are deliberately not captioned, leaving the viewer to ‘find the hope’.
They were all photographed in and around Clapham, South London. The series was created especially for ‘Hope: An Exhibition’, which was exhibited in St James Church, Clapham in March 2020 as part of its ‘Festival of Hope’.
