On June 25th Portugal played their first knock-out match of Euro 2016; Croatia were favourites to win. The score was 0-0 with just 3 minutes of extra time remaining, and a penalty shoot-out, when Quaresma of Portugal scored, leaving Portuguese supporters facing an excruciating wait to the final whistle.
